• Verification specialist must be aware of HIPAA laws
• Verification specialist must have extensive knowledge of medical documents
• Verification specialist must have NY No-Fault insurance verification knowledge
• Verification specialist must have NJ PIP insurance verification knowledge
• Verification specialist must have Workers Compensation insurance verification knowledge
• Verification specialist must have Major Medical insurance verification knowledge
• Verification specialist must maintain good communication between other doctors’ offices and our center for scheduling and booking
• Verification specialist must be able to keep track of all cancelations and incoming patients

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 5 YEARS OF RELATED EXPERIENCE ON NY & NJ INSURANCE VERIFICATION OF BOTH PRIVATE AND AUTO INSURANCE CLAIMS IS A MUST
• Excellent customer service mindset and superb communication skills (written, oral and electronic)
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate skills in Excel
• Should also know how to obtain liens/LOPs from attorney’s office
